Eligible Students
Academy College supports all military students — active-duty, veterans, Guard/Reserve, and families — with a flexible, supportive admissions path.
Who qualifies:
- Students interested in aviation, business, or accounting
- Active-duty service members stationed in the U.S. or overseas
- National Guard or Reserve members
- Spouses or dependents of service members who are eligible for educational benefits
- Veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces
Admissions Requirements
We value your service just as much as your transcripts. That’s why we work to make Academy College an educational home for active and former service members.
Requirements:
- $40 application fee (may be waived for military applicants)
- Completed online application (about 15 minutes)
- Military training transcripts (e.g., JST or CCAF, if available)
- Official high school or college transcripts (if applicable)

Enrollment Process
Your path to becoming an Academy College student is straightforward and supported every step of the way.
Steps to enrollment:
- Connect with us: Request information or talk with our admissions team about programs and military benefits.
- Submit your application: Complete the online form with basic information.
- Send transcripts: Request official transcripts from prior schools and military training.
- Review financial options: Our financial aid team will guide you through FAFSA, GI Bill®, VA benefits, and scholarships.
- Register for classes: Choose courses with an advisor who understands the needs of service members and veterans.

Academy College offers four start dates throughout the year, giving you the flexibility to begin when it works best for your life.

Good questions
Can I use my GI Bill® benefits at Academy College?
Yes. Academy College accepts GI Bill® benefits and works with the VA to ensure your funding is applied correctly.
Will my military training count for credit?
Very likely. We evaluate Joint Services Transcripts (JST), Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), and other military coursework for transfer credit.
Are application fees waived for service members?
Typically yes. Application fees are often waived for active-duty personnel, veterans, and their dependents. Ask our admissions office for details.
Do I have to be full-time to use my benefits?
Not always. Some benefits allow for part-time enrollment. Our financial aid team will explain your options.
Can a spouse or dependents use my military education benefits?
Yes. Eligible family members can use transferred GI Bill® benefits or other aid.
What happens if I’m deployed during the school year?
Academy College allows you to pause or adjust coursework, ensuring you can return without losing progress.
