A new career. A new skill. A new direction. Sometimes, all it takes is deciding to get started.
Changing careers can feel like a big step, especially when you’re balancing work, family, and everything else life throws your way. But going back to school doesn’t have to mean putting your life on hold.
At Academy College in Bloomington, Minnesota, we believe education should work for the people pursuing it. Whether you’re considering a career in aviation, looking to build your business skills, or exploring professional development opportunities, we’re here to help you take that next step.
Built for Adult Learners
Not everyone follows the traditional path from high school straight into college. Some students are returning to education after years in the workforce. Others are ready to turn a lifelong interest into a career.
At Academy College, we understand that.
Our smaller classes, supportive instructors, and flexible learning opportunities help create an environment where students can focus on their goals without feeling lost in the crowd.
You’re not just another number. You’re someone with experience, responsibilities, and ambitions worth investing in.
More Than One Path to a New Career
When people hear Academy College, they often think of aviation. And for good reason.
Through our partnership with Thunderbird Aviation, students can pursue flight training with access to aircraft and training opportunities at two Twin Cities airports. For aspiring pilots, that means the opportunity to begin building real flight experience early in their education.
But aviation is only part of the story.
Academy College also offers educational opportunities in:
- Aviation Business and Management: Explore the business and operational side of the aviation industry.
- Business Administration: Develop practical skills in management, leadership, and business operations.
- Accounting: Build knowledge that supports careers across a wide range of industries.
- Human Resources and Project Management: Prepare to take on new responsibilities and professional challenges.
- Aircraft Dispatch: Explore a critical career path that helps keep aviation operations moving.
- Learning Institute and Drone Training: Discover opportunities to develop new skills and expand your professional capabilities.
Whether you’re pursuing a degree, exploring specialized training, or building on your existing experience, there’s more than one way to move forward.
A Local College With Big Possibilities
Located in Bloomington, Academy College offers Twin Cities students a convenient place to pursue their educational goals.
Our close-knit campus community means opportunities to connect with instructors, ask questions, and get the individual attention that can make a difference when you’re returning to school.
And for aviation students, our relationship with Thunderbird Aviation provides access to flight training at Flying Cloud and Crystal airports.
You don’t have to move across the country to pursue something extraordinary.
Stop Waiting for the Perfect Time
There’s always a reason to put off making a change.
Work is busy. Life gets complicated. Maybe next year will be easier.
But the perfect time rarely announces itself.
The first step doesn’t have to be a giant leap. It might simply be visiting campus, talking with admissions, or exploring a program you’ve been curious about for years.
At Academy College, we’re ready to help you explore what’s possible.
Your goals are worth pursuing. Your experience matters. And your next chapter can start sooner than you think.
