Good questions
When can I apply?
Academy College accepts applications year-round. You can start any quarter: Winter (January), Spring (April), Summer (July), or Fall (October).
How long does the application take?
The online application takes about 15 minutes. The entire process from application to acceptance typically takes 48–72 hours.
What are the basic requirements?
Students need a high school diploma or GED. We don’t require SAT/ACT scores, essays, or letters of recommendation.
Is there an application fee?
Yes. There is a $40 application fee, but that fee is waived for military professionals and re-entering students who withdrew within one year.
Can I transfer credits from another college?
Yes. Academy College accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions. Credits must have a grade of C or higher to transfer.
What if I don't have my transcripts?
No problem. Start your application anyway. We can accept unofficial transcripts to begin the process, but official transcripts are needed before you start classes.
Do I need to come to campus to apply?
No, you can complete the entire application process online. However, we encourage campus visits to see if Academy College is the right fit for you.
What if I'm not ready to start right away?
No problem. Once accepted, you can defer your enrollment to a future quarter that works better for your schedule.
