Interlibrary Loan Policy

Academy College is a member of Minitex, which is a network of academic, public, state government, and special libraries serving library patrons in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Minitex also has a reciprocity agreement with Wisconsin libraries.

When a work is not available in the Academy College collection and is available from another Minitex member, an inter-library loan request will be made. The lending library determines the loan period. To prevent the loan period from being exceeded, all inter-library loan materials must be returned to the Academy College library at least two days before the due date established by the lending library.

Fines for material not returned or damaged are determined by the lending library. Academy College will add a $10.00 processing fee.
