Comprehensive career support
Career coaching and advising sessions
Meet one-on-one with a career advisor to explore options, set goals, and create a plan that connects your program of study to real job opportunities. Advisors also help you understand industry expectations, certification requirements, and background checks.
Resume, cover letters, and reference assistance
Get personalized feedback on your resume, cover letters, and reference lists. We provide templates, checklists, and one-on-one guidance to help you present yourself professionally to employers.
Interview preparation
Build confidence with practice interviews, feedback sessions, and workshops that teach you how to answer questions effectively and present yourself with professionalism in any interview setting.
Workshops and career development labs
Career workshops provide hands-on assistance with resume writing, cover letter creation, networking, job searching, and completing applications. Sessions are free and open to students and alumni.

From finding postings to completing applications, our team supports your entire job search process. Career Services also helps match your skills with openings in your field and connects you with employer partners.
Internships, part-time, and seasonal placements
Career Services works with the Education Department and employer partners to help you secure internships, as well as part-time or seasonal jobs while you are enrolled.
Career fairs and networking
Participate in career fairs, employer panels, and networking events designed to connect students and alumni with recruiters and industry professionals.

How do I get help with my resume?
Bring your resume draft to a Career Services workshop or schedule a one-on-one advising session. Our team will review your resume, suggest improvements, and provide templates and checklists to make sure it stands out.
Who do I reach out to get help finding a job?
The Career Services Office is your first stop for job search support. Advisors can connect you with job postings, employer partners, and networking opportunities while also helping you prepare applications and practice for interviews.
When and how should I get started with Career Services?
Start now. Many students connect with Career Services in their first term to start building resumes, practicing interview skills, or exploring internships. To get started, simply contact the Career Services Office to schedule an advising session.
Does Career Services work with all programs, or just aviation?
All programs. Support is available for every program — aviation, business, accounting, and technology.
Can alumni use Career Services?
Yes. All Academy College alumni are welcome to return for career advising, workshops, and job search support.
How do I request an internship?
Work with the Career Services Office and the Education Department to create a plan for on-the-job experience in your field of study.
Are workshops and resources free?
Yes. All workshops, career labs, and resource downloads are free of charge to students and alumni.
What if I need help with professional exams or certifications?
Career Services can guide you through the process and provide support for scheduling, preparation, and reporting results of certifications (CPA, FAA, Microsoft, etc.).
