Academy College established this scholarship program to honor and continue the legacy of a great Minnesota Aviator, Sherm Booen, and to provide financial assistance to students studying at Academy College to join the aviation industry.
Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to two students each year, selected by the Academy College Scholarship Committee. Award funds cover tuition first. This scholarship is renewable for each grade level of the program for a max of $20,000 for all Aviation Flight
and Aviation Business Programs. Subsequent awards require a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
