The Bachelor of Commercial Aviation at Academy College prepares students for employment with airlines as well as private and corporate operators.  FAA flight training is conducted through Thunderbird Aviation, and graduates leave with a minimum of Commercial Pilot Certificate, Multi-engine, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight instructor Instrument (CFII).  Academy College graduates are employed by US airlines, cargo carriers, corporate flight departments, and many others.

Industry Demand:

According to Boeing, over 600,000 new commercial pilots and 96,000 corporate pilots will be needed worldwide over the next 20 years.

Flexible & Convenient Scheduling:

Students train on-campus or on-line, our curriculum and schedule is built with all types of student’s schedules in mind.  Flight training is conducted at two different airports throughout your training, giving the student additional expose to all types of flying conditions.

R-ATP Approved

Our flight training is conducted under FAR 141, which allows pilots to be hired at 1000 hours total flight time rather than the original 1500.
