Get the Administrative and Clinical skills you need to thrive

Through your coursework, you’ll prepare to become a health professional with a wide range of skills and in-depth knowledge. Students will gain both Administrative and Clinical experiences throughout the program offerings.

Administrative duties include telephone and greeting skills, filing, transcription, data entry, billing, coding, organization and appointment scheduling. Clinical duties may include preparing patients for exams, preparing basic laboratory tests, advising patients on medications and special diets, and maintaining and sterilizing medical tools and equipment.

Academy College graduates find opportunities in the front and back offices of both clinics and hospitals. In addition, many healthcare employment opportunities offer tremendous options for advancement into nursing and other specializations, depending on the medical facilities.
