Transferring Students

At Academy College, we strive to make the process of transferring credits as seamless as possible. In fact, the process is quite easy. Simply request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities to be sent direct to the Academy College Director of Education. The Director of Education will consider credit transfers from accredited colleges and universities if they meet the following criteria:

We also invite students that previously attended Academy Education Center or any of the following Academy divisions or affiliates to contact us to determine what we can do for you:

International Students

Minimums: 181 Quarter Credits

Full-time 12 Quarters to complete (36 mo.)

Part-time 13-24 Quarters to complete

Students in the Commercial Aviation BS Degree Program  learn the technical and soft skills needed for entry-level positions such as Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII), first officer, and charter pilot.  Along with a minimum number of flight hours, a four year degree is often a requirement for major airlines.  Academy College Commercial Aviation Bachelor of Science Degree graduates are eligible to apply for a restricted privileges Airline Transport Pilot (ATP-R) Certificate with a minimum of 1000 hours of total flight time.*

COMMERCIAL AVIATION BS

COMMERCIAL PILOT AAS

Students in the Commercial Pilot AAS Degree Program  learn the technical and soft skills needed for entry-level positions such as Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII), first officer, and charter pilot. Academy College Commercial Pilot AAS degree graduates are eligible to apply for a restricted privileges Airline Transport Pilot (ATP-R) Certificate with a minimum of 1250 hours of total flight time.*

Minimums: 100 Quarter Credits

Full-time 6 Quarters to complete (18 mo.)

Part-time 7-12 Quarters to complete

Minimums: 95 Quarter Credits

Full-time 6 Quarters to complete (18 mo.)

Part-time 7-12 Quarters to complete

Students in the Aviation Business AAS Degree Program learn the technical and soft skills needed for entry-level aviation related professions such as a Fixed Base Operations (FBO) manager, transportation manager, freight coordinator, and distribution operations manager.

AVIATION BUSINESS AAS

AIRCRAFT DISPATCHER COURSE

Academy College offers a twelve-week Aircraft Dispatcher training course based on the training outline detailed in Appendix A of FAR Part 65, which states that a minimum of 200 training hours are required in a training course. Graduates of the Aircraft Dispatcher course must be 23 years old to be eligible for the FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certification.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION BS

Students in the Business Administration BS Degree Program learn the technical and soft skills needed for entry-level business professions such as a retail manager, payroll department, or human resources department.

*Online program is currently available to Minnesota residents only.

Minimums: 180 Quarter Credits

Full-time 12 Quarters to complete (36 mo.)

Part-time 13-24 Quarters to complete

 ACCOUNTING AAS

Students in the Accounting AAS Degree Program learn the technical skills and soft skills needed to succeed in entry-level accounting professions such as a retail accounting or payroll accounting positions.

Minimums: 102 Quarter Credits

Full-time 6 Quarters to complete (18 mo.)

Part-time 7-12 Quarters to complete

COMPUTER SCIENCE BS

Students is the Computer Science Program learn the technical  and soft skills needed to succeed in entry-level Information technology professions such as a Junior Network Administrator, Technical Analyst, Security Analyst or Computer Programmer.

Minimums: 180 Quarter Credits

Full-time 12 Quarters to complete (36 mo.)

Part-time 13-24 Quarters to complete

NETWORK ADMINISTRATION AAS

Students in the Network Administration Program learn the technical and soft skills required for entry-level employment in Information Technology, Information Security or a variety of industries where basic computer Literacy skills are needed.

Minimums: 102 Quarter Credits

Full-time 6 Quarters to complete (18 mo.)

Part-time 7-12 Quarters to complete

BUSINESS AAS

Students in the Business AAS Degree Program learn the technical and soft skills needed for entry-level business professions such as a retail, marketing, or payroll.
